Plot Summary
This story is about the lives of Callum and Sephy who are divided because of their class. Sephy is a Cross and Callum is a nought. Sephy & Callum are struggling with their messed up lives, there lives are only like this because of the racism in their world (Pangea). In this story there is love, misfortune, friendship, racism, violence, and many more. It is about how two people can overcome all of this and still find each other even after all that happens. At the start of the book Callum and Sephy are best friends at their young age but after Callum's mother, Meggie got fired their parents did not want their kids to be friends anymore. Callum & Sephy manage to keep their friendship going behind their parents backs. This leads to them being closer together but also drama comes up and starts to destroy everything, living in a heavily racist country Callum struggles to get through even though Sephy tries to help. In the end Callum turns to violence giving up his earlier morals, Sephy goes away to boarding school and they have no contact what so ever until 3 years later...By this time Callum had turned cold and Sephy was managing an alright life, with Sephy being completely oblivious to what was about to happen she happily agreed to meet Callum at their old special place, the beach. Callum and his L.M crew kidnap her, with the time Callum and Sephy spend together while she was kidnap. The Callum, Sephy use to know starts to break through his new cold personality which led to Callum and Sephy making love for the first and last time. Sephy manages to escape after Callum's crew failed a plan. Sephy returns home to lots of media attention and with surprise Sephy finds out she's pregnant. Sephy's father, Kamal Hadley tracks Callum down and gives him an ultimatum either he admits to raping Sephy and stays in prison for the minimum amount of time allowed or he hangs. Callum who could not bring himself to lie about raping Sephy he ends up hanging, with Sephy there screaming their love for each other. The book ends with announcing the birth of Callum and Sephy's child, Callie Rose McGregor.
